have not had a problem with the ethernet but this 8bpp thing is driving me
nuts. it messes up using mol also. i know someone who uses bootx on thier
iBook, but i am not sure how he does it.
        I don't know what to append to yaboot.conf to make this work. as it is sys
wont boot linux unless i specify novideo...
        do you think that xfree86 v4. might be a soloution???

It certianly _can_ do more once someone figures out what to tell
OpenFirmware.

I also am in the same boat with my ibook. 8bpp is ugly.

You should also have some ethernet problem as the ethernet chip is not 100%.
