Maybe I should have made myself more clear.
When the CD boots here is exactly what comes up on my screen:
Welcome to yaboot version 0.5
Wrong partition 1 signature
Config file read, 210 bytes
Welcome to Yellow Dog Linux
Hit <TAB> for boot options.
boot:
Loading kernel...
Can' open device <cd:0>
Image not found....try again.
Any thoughts?
I am about at my wits end.
