OK. here is where I stand today.

If I boot using command+option+o+f, I get the firmware booted. Then I get
stuck. It says it can't open the drive I am specifying.

I have done this as suggested:

I have tried every possible combination of hda, hdb, hdc, hdd Can someone
help me out here?

Call me an idiot if you want, I just want some help. Thank you in advance.
