SSH is continually being developed on. I, however, have had no success
with it. (It is available from www.ssh.com; the problem I have is a
fatal error 11 every time any ssh-related binary is run.)

OpenSSH has worked well for me. I would just download the latest sources
and follow the instructions. They are pretty straightforward if I
remember correctly.
