Subject: Installing yaboot without MacOS?

Hi,
I have a Firewire Powerbook G3, and I'm tring to get YDL up
and running on it. The complication is that I do not have
a copy of MacOS, and the disk is completely bare. I can install
from the CD, but I can't seem to get a boot loader to install.
Can someone tell me how to get yaboot installed so I can
boot the newly installed OS? Can I boot the new OS from
open firmware?
