I had the same problem on my iMac, and i fixed by adding all the mac
specific drivers in the kernel..
Anoying with the long fsck thing, is there a journaling fs for linux on ppc?

groups per user??????)

        To all,

Ok, I compiled a nice new 2.2.18pre21 kernel... Everything
*seems* to work except for the keyboard - its mappings are all
wrong... Previously, I was using the stock 2.2.15 kernel included with
YDL 1.2. Right now, the return key, for example, is mapped to '8', caps
lock is mapped to space, and 'h' is mapped to 'p.' Does anyone know how
to fix this? I'm running an original G4, with the Apple USB keyboard and
mouse (hockey puck).

Also, does anybody know which USB options are correct? Do I want
full HID support, or just HIDBP support?

        Thanks.

                                Sincerely,
