Find out what the proper device major/minor numbers are; then,
in /etc/modules.conf, you can add a line of the form:
alias char-major-MMM-mmm usb-storage
where MMM-mmm is the major-minor pair. If you do that, then
simply accessing the device will automatically load the module.
