Hello,
we are in the same situation, therefore I tested SuSE's zImage.2.2.16.chrp
which is in SuSE's ftp server and YDL ramdisk image from CDROM.
I used bootargs: boot floppy:,\ZIMAGE console=ttyS0,9600 root=/dev/fd0
load_ramdisk=1
and kernel's boot messages are visible on serial ASCII terminal, then system
wants second floppy with ramdisk, which is uncompressed. Then I can see some
messages like "Yellow Dog install init version 1.2 starting" but here
install process stops.

Could you help?

Thank you

Tomas

IBM RS/6000 B50's all of which don't have graphic cards on (I've ordered 8
to IBM but haven't received them yet). I was wondering if someone has
already compiled a boot floppy image for CS 1.2 with serial console support
on and could send it to me via e-mail.
