All this talk about bogomips got me curious so I looked to see what I was
getting on my 8600/250 with 1mb lc cache (as reported in the macos). I am
getting about 210 bogomips and it is not seeing my l2 cache at all cat
/proc/sys/kernel/l2cr yeilds bad address. I was reading in the list archives
that someone had a 8500 getting 400 bogomips. This isn't fair! What's wrong
here. I am normally using a 2.2.15pre19 custom compiled kernel but using the
standard ydl and lppc2000 doesn't help. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
