Look in June or July archives and you'll find a very detailed article about
building apache and php. I just did this, and started with fresh binaries
off the apache.org and php.net websites. JUST BE FOREWARNED you need to
hack php a little. There is a news item on the linuxppc.com site about two
lines that need to be modified in php 4.01 for it to compile correctly on a
ppc machine, with those hacks, it compiles just fine, also building apache
yourself will get you apx as well as apache in all the right directories.
