Subject: verdict on Summer 2000 iMacs?

I'm looking to shake my web hosting firm like a bad dream, and pick up
where it left off with a nice local server on my DSL line. (It dawned
on me last night was relying on them for lots of storage space, and
rather little bandwidth.)
I've done the cost-benefit analyses in the past and come up pretty sold
on the idea of using iMacs as servers. The price is right, fanlessness
is a big win for machines living in the house, and if Airport is viable
under YDL, so much the better.
So can I expect to install cheerfully on the new Summer 2000 models?
I'm looking at the low-end DV, sans DVD drive.
Much obliged.
