Hi,

I found a couple of references to this problem in the archives, but never
a solution beyond reinstalling, which didn't work for me.

I've installed CS 1.2 on my Pismo 400 three times using instructions from
modctek.com and using benh's kernels. I get through the installer fine
(except for mouse and xconfig) and reboot.
When it tries to mount my filesystem (/dev/hda11 on /), it
returns: /etc/fstab not found and some other errors related to that. i've
only the one partition for linux, and i can't make any mods to it because
it mounts readonly (because there isn't any fstab file). i tried the
"mount -o remount,rw /" suggestion that was in the July archives, and that
didn't work either (perhaps I can't remount /?).

So i'm stuck here. I guess I could use MountX to mount the partition in
MacOS and create the fstab file manually. I just don't know how to
construct it. Could someone with a working Pismo please send their fstab
my way?

Thanks,
Josh
