Hello!
We have an IBM RS/6000 7025 F50 workstation, but fail to install
YDL Linux (CS 1.2) on it.
When I boot it with YDL floppy (Linux kernel is 2.2.15), it steps ok
until fell into a resetting loop:
SCSI host 0 abort (pid0) timeout - resetting
SCSI bus is being reset for host 0 channel 0
sym53c8xx_reset: pid=0 reset_flags=2 serial_number=1
serial_number_at_timeout=1
... (repeated with new serial_number)
We have tried: boot floppy:,\ZIMAGE sym53c8xx=safe:y,
but still the same.
It can be boot with AIX 4.1.2 under the same H/W.
Has anyone encountered this problem?
