I am also having trouble with my Pismo install, it doesn't have an fstab file.
I got a little further with ' mount -o remount,rw / -n ' but now I need help in
creating an fstab file. I have the following partitions on my disk:

9: apple hfs+ 2.3g
10: apple hfs 500m
11: / 200m
12: swap 100m
13: /usr 1.2g
14: /home 1.3g

Also if I do get all my partitons to mount, is X going to start without any
trouble?
Thanks for all your help.
