After numerous attempts to get 3 button emulation out of a original
equipment iMac hockey puck one-button mouse, I gave up. We were at Staples
yesterday for some back to school shopping they have a Logitech optical
wheel mouse on sale for $19.99. Plugged it in, restarted the Mac, booted
Linux and voila! It worked perfectly. Didn't have to do anything.
I don't know why I waited so long :-)
