You can fix it yourself without having to make the mailing list change
the contents of the mail people send to the list. In procmail:

* ^TO_yellowdog-general
{
   :0 hfw
   | sed -e 's/^Subject:/Subject: [yellowdog]/'

   $DEFAULT
}
