error creating partitions

I always get a 'fatal error' when creating the partitions with the YDL
installer, something like:
OSSERR: ERRNO 17
file exists:tmp/root/etc
File '/usr/lib/yi/mount.pi' line 505, in WriteOS.mkdir
and 2 more similar errors
Got no clue on how to fix it...
Anyone advice?
