Very many thanks for that help, man. I appreciate it. I'll try your kernel
later today, as well as your suggestion (I think it was yours) to try
openssh.

I cleaned out yup, and then re-configured it... Selecting a mirror and
all... Then /usr/sbin/yup update gives me this error

"Error: URL Job Failed" Is that an error like it couldn't resolve the host
or something?...
