 Hrm, equating 'my' and 'root' doesn't sound like a good thing. You should
not be working on your machine as the user 'root' unless you are doing
things that you cannot do as a regular user. Even then, in most cases, you
can use sudo (man sudo).

 It is strongly advisable that you create an account for yourself that
doesn't have superuser privileges and use that.
