Subject: kernel updates

I like keeping track of new kernels and i always read kernel trafic,
change-logs and i try to keep on top, just a little nerdy hobby of mine.
One of the good things about the change log is the listings of wich changes
was made. Although i do not understand it all, i do get the picture, and
once in a while i can mention to a friend in need that that problem was
solved in patch 4 or something like that. But with the ppc fixes it just
says ppc update...
Does anyone know where to get more info about that? i know that some of it i
wount understand anyway, but it would be nice to see afterall
