Subject: Yup: minimal list / upgrade?

I couldn't find any way to ask yup what seems to me the most obvious
question:
For only those packages currently installed on my system, list those
for which a later version is available (with old and new version num-
bers)
Correspondingly, how do I tell yup to:
Update those packages currently installed for which a later version
is available
After installing YDL 2.0 from the CD, I did a laborious hand comparison
involving importing the output of 'yup list' and 'rpm --list' into
Moft Excel to come up with the 24 packages for which a later version is
available, out of the 211 packages installed on my box, out of 956 pack-
ages available on the mirror site.
There's gotta be an easier way.
