Subject: xinetd fails to boot

Hi, i'ld appreciate any help i could get with this problem.

Installed YD2.0 on an "old" G4 (Yikes! motherboard). It seemed to install
okay, and the bootloader works fine but it always hangs when attempting to load
xinetd (i've waited upwards of 30minutes to try). The relevant message
in var/log/messages:

xinetd[384]: unexpected signal 4 (illegal instruction)
last message repeated 290564 times
[this last line is repeated several time with only the number changed]

My xinetd.conf:

defaults
{ instances = 60
        log_type = SYSLOG authpriv
        log_on_success = HOST PID
        log_on_failure = HOST RECORD
}

includedir /etc/xinetd.d

Note that i chose the defaults when choosing what services to install in
the YDinstaller, which don't run any of the services in the
xinetd.d directory, chargen, daytime, echo, etc...

Thanks in advance,
