        You need the tulip driver v0.91g-ppc or later. I started with
        kernel 2.2.17 source and replaced tulip.c in drivers/net with
        the newer version and it's worked fine ever since on my 6500/300
        with a Farallon card.

        Under Networking in th kernel config, you need to enable
        CONFIG_DEC_ELCP: DECchip Tulip (dc21x4x) PCI support.
