The only thing plugged in is the CDROM! (Actually it's a DVD)
In case I didn't make it clear in the first post, the system is a '98 G3 300 Powerbook. Old World ROM. 192MB RAM.
YDL correctly detects the video card (atyfb) at boot, so that shouldn't be the problem.
Is there anything like a "--verbose" option on the install program?
That would be a big help.
