I guessed that is what would be stated, so I cp'd the files.
I shutdown apache to test out qt.
this is the error I get.
Launching streamingadminserver.pl
/usr/local/sbin/DarwinStreamingServer:
/usr/local/sbin/DarwinStreamingServer: cannot execute binary file
hmmmm..
I checked and it is there and executable.
Does your step;
10. You should now be up and running. If you've got SSL libraries
installed, go to "https://127.0.0.1:1220/", if not, got to
"http://127.0.0.1:1220/" (on the machine that's running the
server). Otherwise, you need to massage some config files.
need to be done on the server itself, or can it be done from another
machine on the same network, and supplying the proper ip address inplace
of localhost ip? I did attempt this from a machine on my network and got
the pretty page stating Click on 'Start Server Now' to start the server.
and then of course it does not start, just starts another process of the
streamingadminserver.pl.
it is noce that I am making progress though. Not gotten this far as of
yet. ;)
