XVNC?

OK... this may have been asked and answered a dozen times... I'm brand
new to the list.. and to Yellow Dog...

But I am fairly competent with RH on Intel... so here's my question...

I'm trying to compile XVNC on my Yellow Dog 2.0 installation (G4 450
MHz, 512 MB RAM), and keep getting a config error when I run "xmkmf".

The error I get is:

imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config
In file included from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config/Imake.tmpl:90,
                 from Imakefile.c:32:
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config/linux.cf:633: warning: `OptimizedCDebugFlags'
redefined
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config/host.def:9: warning: this is the location of
the previous definition
In file included from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config/site.def:158,
                 from /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config/Imake.tmpl:96,
                 from Imakefile.c:32:
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config/host.def:9: warning: `OptimizedCDebugFlags'
redefined
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config/linux.cf:633: warning: this is the location of
the previous definition

I assume that the VNC config script doesn't know what to do with a PPC
Linux... so I'm going to have to specify command line parameters to the
config script...

My question to the group... has anyone else been able to successfuly
compile XVNC? If so... how? If not... I'll be the good net-citizen
and try to muddle through and post instructions myself. :)
