installation freeze

i have tried for 3 days and nigths to install the ydl cs 1.2.1

my installation goes as far as accepting the required packages, then it
makes a linux formated partition on my drive and then begins to install..

it has stopped at lpr, lzrr adn linuxconf... after which i have decided to
stop trying coz i keep unchecking one adn then it stops at another one.....

what is the reason...
