Where did they end up? The place X puts 'em by default is valid too..

Hmm. What size monitor do you have? The HorizSync/VertRefresh that
Xautoconfig gives is based on the resolution the console is at. Ie if you
have a small (800x600) res, it assumes a small (15inch) monitor.

Errrg. 0:0:0 is bad, what machine is this? I think I know what the problem
is (can you run a /sbin/lspci and see if the video card shows up, need
pcituils installed)

Er, now that I see this, can you try using a newer kernel as well? This
may or may not help w/ the PCI issue (www.fsmlabs.com/linuxppcbk.html)
