Thanks for your email. I logged in as 'root' on a terminal and then issued
the command as you suggested. I was immediately asked to identify which
version of YDL I ran ... and then which mirror I wanted to use.

Then I issued the command '/usr/sbin/yup update yup' ... to update my version
of yup. The computer responded with...

'Reading RPM database ....(100%)
Performing dependencies sanity check ...
Checking for package list updates ...
Retreiving initial package list ...'

Then nothing for 15 minutes!! Is this what is supposed to happen??
