Subject: ProFTP slow response

Hi again,
Just wondering if anyone has come across the following problem -
I've also posted this to the Webmin list, but if anyone has any ideas,
please let me know.
I did an 'everything' install of Yellowdog Linux 2.1 & then
installed Webmin 0.91
After setting the 'daemons' to start at boot time such as Apache
etc..., I tested to see if the FTP server responded - which it did by IP
address very quickly.
However, after creating a secondary domain & then converting it to
a master off my current DNS, then adding a virtual server for ProFTP,
attempting to log into the server by FTP, either by domain or IP address is
very slow, as is the general response, sometimes up to 60 seconds, always
at least 30 seconds.
As I'm not connected to the net with this server, only via a
dedicated ethernet hub, I don't know what the problem might be. Any ideas?
