No default route when dialed up

Hi all,

For some weird reason when I dial up using wvdial on YDL v2.1, no
default route is added, and I have to add it manually every time I dial
up.

When pppd runs, it runs with the following command line:

/usr/sbin/pppd modem crtscts defaultroute usehostname -detach user ick
noipdefault remotename * call wvdial

As I understand it the "defaultroute" keyword above should be doing the
trick, but it does not. Anyone know what could cause this?

Regards,
Graham
