        Ummm... Well, the Seagate Cheetah I have in my 7600 is a 10000rpm
18GB 68pin ultra wide SCSI with a 68-50 pin adapter on the internal bus.
It's made it the quickest Mac OS machine pre G3 model I've ever used. I
don't see why the 8500 shouldn't be able to do the same.
