Hrm. The brightness buttons work on my iBook2. The volume buttons don't.
There was a software daemon (I think) wandering around to enable them. It
could probably make your brightness buttons work too ... if I find it
again I'll post it here.

Aaah, I used that, back in the old days. Maybe 4 years ago ...
Apart from the iBook, I haven't had a mac in a long time. Might be getting
a G4, though. w00t! :-)
