I have YDL on a 7200/120 on a 1.2G disk that is partitioned roughly as
follows:

  250MB - sys7.5.3
  128MB - swap
  8??MB - ydl2.1

If you don't install X or the development tools, it will easily fit
inside of 300MB. Then, after you install YDL, mount the CD-ROM and
install gcc and some of the other development libraries. Now you can
do basic development on it.
