in a new install of YDL-2.1, the monitor is displaying a screen size
of 1280x1024 at a resolution of 1024x768, so that the screen runs off
the edges of the monitor. fbset reports that the mode is
1024x768-60. the monitor will support 1280x1024-75., and did so just
fine in YDL-2.0. unfortunately, this is a new disk.

can this be fixed by editing the XF86Config-4 file? i have input the
h- and v-sync values in the XF86Config file, and the only modes
listed are all 1280x1024 resolution. do i need to specify the screen
size somewhere?

ta.
