Err.. From the above there's no way we can help you. perhaps you can
answer a few questions to we can maybe nail down a specfic problem.

What kind of Mac?
Does your network work when booted into MacOS?
Is the link light lit on whatever you're plugged into?
What's the output of /sbin/route?
What's the output of /sbin/ifconfig?
What is the contents of /etc/resolv.conf?
Are you using a network card that *isn't* the built-in ethernet?
What are you pluging into (DSL modem, hub, another computer)
DHCP or static addressing?
