Subject: OT: Shell scripting wizardry needed

I'm kind of a shell scripting newbie. I've created a nightly backup
script that backs up a bunch of important files to a second hard
drive. The files are placed in directories creatively named for the
date, like:
01-12-18
01-12-19
etc...
To save on disk space I'd like the script to automagically delete
directories that are more than a specified number of days old.
How can I do this?
