Perhaps the fact that LinuxPPC is an aging distribution which appears
to be dead? (*) If LinuxPPC works for you, it works for you, but
most people would probably be better served by Yellow Dog, especially
those using newer hardware.

(*) I haven't seen anything definitive on this, but it's been over a
year since the last update to the distribution, the website seems
dormant, and there have been hints flying around that the company is
kaput, or at least is taking an indefinite rest. For example:

http://www.penguinppc.org/projects/other_distros.shtml

Nobody from LinuxPPC Inc. seems to be lifting a finger to deny any of
this, which I'd expect if they were still trying to survive as a
Linux distributor.

In my experience it is a better quality distribution than the last
release of LPPC (LPPC 2K Q4). Your mileage may vary.
