For Apache, open httpd.conf in your favorite text editor and set the "Server
Name" Parameter.

Edit the file /etc/sysconfig/network and change the HOSTNAME= to the
desired
name. When booting up, you should see the name of your machine in
configuring hostname blah, or whatever the message is on
bootup.
