Subject: YDL Install on a Cube (Part 2)

I have installed YDL (ver 2.0) on a cube. I am also running on this iMac but
that's by the way. The cube has one of those 15 inch studio displays (the
LCD screen). I followed the suggestion in the engineers notes to use the
parameter
video=aty128fb:vmode:14
and the install went 100%. I chose the Apple studio LCD display from the
suggested list of monitors at the end of the install ...and IF I type the
statement above at the boot prompt linux boots properly (console).
1. Can I incorporate that statement into one of my scripts ...?? to save my
fingers ... as I am a two finger typist!!
2. Why doesn't my xwindows work?? The screen goes black and the light
pulsates at me ... suggesting I have chosen the wrong display. I suppressed
all modes except for 1024 by 768.
Any ideas people??

Thanks to the howto at YDL and some information from Avinesh I now have this
work 100%. Next step is to compile some software for psk31 ... an amateur
radio mode. Thanks people. YDL is great!
