I am assuming your iMac is dual boot, and the Mac Os partition is HF+. If it
is HFS, replace the "hp" at the beginning of the following commands with
"h".

1. Mount the drive: hpmount /dev/hdaX (where X is the mac partition)
2. locate the files: use hpcd to change directory and hpls to list contents.
3. once found, copy the files (I don't believe globbing is supported, so you
will have to transfer each file individually:
    hpcopy mac-file local_file

NOTE: man hcopy (both versions, hcopy & hpcopy have the same options) to
read the file transfer format options. This is very important. You could get
unexpected file formats if you don't.

Of course, you could always use an intermediary ftp server or somesuch, but
this is the quickest way to transfer files on the same machine.
