Subject: MOL 0.9.60-4 and mouse on YDL2.1

I've been having problems getting the mouse to work properly
under MOL ever since I upgraded to YDL2.1 (from LinuxPPC Q3,
and whatever version of MOL I was running with that).
Everything works fine when I'm using the separate X-Windows
window, but I have problems on the separate virtual
terminal/console.
Either the mouse doesn't move the cursor, or the buttons
don't work.
I've tried modifying the mouse configuration settings in
/etc/molrc with the following results:
mouse_device = unspecified, mouse_protocol = console
--> mouse doesn't move cursor, mouse buttons do nothing
mouse_device = /dev/adbmouse, mouse_protocol = adb
--> mouse doesn't move cursor, mouse buttons do nothing
mouse_device = /dev/input/mice, mouse_protocol = adb
--> mouse moves cursor, mouse buttons work erratically
(mostly they do nothing, occasionally one of the
buttons generates a left-mouse event to MacOS, not
always the same button)
I have:
- An Alps GlidePoint ADB keyboard, which has an embedded
track-pad that emulates a 3-button ADB mouse.
- An Old-World machine (PowerTower Pro, like a PowerMac
9600, I think)
- kernel 2.4.10-12a
- MOL 0.9.60-4
Sound familiar to anyone?
