i have discovered a bug in the YDL 2.1 install
program. my setup is as follows:

250mb SCSI hd (0:0):
Misc. Mac System Partitions...
/dev/sda5 - HFS Root

2.1gb SCSI hd (0:2):
/dev/sdb2 - Swap
/dev/sdb3 - ext2

when i define the mount points in the install, if i
define a mount for /dev/sda5, the installer will mount
that but will not mount my ext2 partition on /tmp/root
for the package installation. i went through 7 or 8
installs with package install failures before i caught
this one. easy solution....don't define a mount point
for your HFS partitions during setup.
