Subject: Installing on B&W G3 with 2.1

I have been trying to install YDL on a B&W G3 and during boot the monitor
displays only a rainbow of vertical colours.
The system has 192 megs ram
CD and internal ZIP
6 gig scsi drive
a Adaptec PCI SCSI card
a Sonnet ATA 100 pci to IDE adapter card with two 13 gig drives attached
I have the Mac OS on the two 13 gig drives and wish to install the YDL on
the 6 gig drive that shipped with the system.
If I follow the instructions for installation and press the return key after
the system boots from the CD-ROM the rainbow of colours will be a
streaming/falling rainbow of colours.
Any help would be appreciated.
