sound on pmac 6100

does dmasound_pmac support the sound card in the
powermac 6100? i compiled it direct into the kernel.
dmesg shows "DMA sound driver installed, using 32
buffers of 4k." when i try to run mpg123 or play, it
just sits there doing nothing. with play, i tried to
play a 3 second wav file and it just say there like it
was playing for over a minute. any ideas?
