Hmm.. If you can figure out how to do it I'd happily test your theories. I
have a spare (yes.. *spare* :) 9600/mp that is identical to my 1.2.1
production server that I can bring home and play with. FWIW, I have tried
this and couldn't get it to go, I think you'll need to patch the 1.2.1
glibc to be nice with db3. This is where the black magic starts and I
seem to be out of chicken entrails at the moment...

Regardless of the support of 1.2.1 (which would be nice, bit I know and
understand is not feasable at this point) I think this is a great idea and
really encourage it. Please tell me who to bludgeon to make it happen and
they shall be suitably dealt with :)
