I'm not sure I know the answer to your cd audio question, it might just be
that the new drives w/ apple computers don't work for audio. As for the
login, you need to change your run level to 5. Change the line in
/etc/inittab that reads "id:3:initdefault:" to have a 5 instead of the
3. Just to make sure, DO NOT change it to 0 or 6. Hope that helps.
