For whatever it's worth, I've been experimenting with Debian GNU/Linux
(kernel 2.2.17 ppc) and XFree86 4.0.2 on my home machine. I use BootX
with my setup--a PowerBase 180 w/Sonnet G3/L2 upgrade and a 2MB ATI
Mach64 video card.
