1. include more information and specs about the system you are trying to
install on
2. search the list archives as this comes up often, at least about some
machines it does
3. give a more detailed description of how you are creating the partitions
in the first place

I'm trying to install 2.1 on a PowerBook G3. It consistently hangs at about
the same point while attempting to format my root partition. I've checked
the disk for bad blocks, but it seems fine. Any suggestions?
