I'm kind of new to linux on the mac, and macs in general. The computer I'm
trying to install YDL on is a PowerBook G3 300 with 32 mb of ram and and a
4gb hard disk. I've create a 900 mb hfs partition while installing mac os
and left the rest as unpartitioned space, as per the howto instructions. I
was unable to use the graphical install as it hung up while loading
x-wndows, so I was using the text based installer. I created a 128 mb swap
partition (hda10) and used the rest for the root partition (hda11). It
successfully formats the swap partition and then hangs on the root
partition.
